Oral Communication

  1. Introduce yourself

 

Introduction: I did this assignment in Oral Communication course in the second semester of freshman year. The assignment was about introducing yourself in a general way. The doctor gave us three topics to choose. I choose this topic because I thought that my last five years Is worth to tell.

 

Reflection: I learned from this topic how to organize a story. In addition, I learned how to improvise. I learned how to grab the audience attention.

 

  1. Persuade

 

Introduction: I did this assignment in Oral communication course. My topic was why electronic books are better than physical books. This topic was a presentation in the class. The goal of this assignment is to convince the students why eBooks are better than the traditional books, and I did.

 

Reflection: I learned from this assignment how to be confidence when I stand in the front of the class. I learned how to search about specific topic.

 

3. Eiffel tower

 

Introduction: I did this assignment in French course last semester. It was presentation about the most famous places to visit in France.

 

Reflection: I learned from this assignment how to present in a new language to me. This course helped me to build confidence and improved my communication to a next level. To give a presentation in a new language that I learned in three months it really make me confidence and better communicator.

 

4. How to make sand casting

 

Introduction: I did this presentation in introduction to Manufacturing. This presentation was about how to make sand casting in a simple way and cheap.

 

Reflection: I learned from this presentation a lot of engineering terms. It was easy and fun. This was my first presentation in my major, it helped me to learn and communicate in a new vocabulary that I will use and still using them, for example Hardness and ductile, brittle.
